Moxibustion

Most of my treatments thoughtfully integrate this therapeutic and synergistic Chinese Medicine modality to enhance overall effectiveness. Moxibustion involves the careful burning of dried and finely ground mugwort leaves over specific acupuncture points. This process produces a gentle warming sensation that helps stimulate movement and encourages the free flow of energy, or qi, throughout the body's meridians, supporting balance and well-being.

Herbal Medicine

There are hundreds of herbs in the Chinese pharmacopia, each one with unique properties that can address a variety of ailments. Most often, herbs are combined into patient-specific formulas designed to gently relieve branch symptoms in the short term, address root-cause issues long term, and bolster foundational health.

Perennial Health Acupuncture is located in the charming NW Nob Hill neighborhood, within a renovated historic landmark building, LINNEA HALL.

Treatment rooms feature natural light & unique architectural details, and are equipped with heated tables, soft linens, heat/AC and air purifiers.

INSURANCE

Perennial Health Acupuncture does not currently accept insurance. All appointments are self-pay.

I do accept HSA funds. I also reserve a limited number of sliding scale slots for those in need, and offer the option to purchase bulk discounted sessions. Learn more on the drop down menu to your right.
